Agreement to Terms

By using the Lineage Health website at lineagehealth.co or creating an account (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who Can Use Lineage Health

You must be at least 18 and live in the United States to create an account. The information you give us at signup must be accurate.

Accounts

Lineage Health offers Young Adult Accounts and Parent Accounts. Each account belongs to the person who creates it.

You can invite a parent, child, or other trusted person to view or contribute to your account. You decide what they can see and can remove their access at any time. They have no rights to your information beyond what you allow.

Keep your login credentials private. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account anytime in settings or by emailing us. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

How You Can Use the Service

Use Lineage Health for lawful purposes only. Don't:

Health Information You Share

You can voluntarily share information about insurance, family history, allergies, medications, providers, and conditions. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you share. If you share information about another person, you confirm you have their permission to do so.

How we handle this information — and the specific consents we collect — is covered in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent and delete your information at any time.

Messaging

Lineage Health lets you message family members you've added to your account. By using messaging, you agree that we transmit and store these messages. Messages are encrypted, but don't send anything you wouldn't want stored.

We Don't Give Medical Advice

Lineage Health is for education and information only. We're not a healthcare provider and don't diagnose, treat, or recommend medical care. Nothing in the Service — including AI-generated content or information about providers — replaces professional medical advice. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.

Emergencies

Lineage Health is not for emergencies. If you're having a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or go to the nearest emergency room.

AI Content

Lineage Health uses AI to answer questions and guide your healthcare journey. AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and aren't reviewed by a healthcare professional. Don't rely on them without verifying.

Insurance Information

We can explain how insurance works — for example, what a deductible is or what "in-network" means — but we can't recommend specific plans or sell you insurance. We're not a licensed insurance broker. For coverage decisions, talk to a licensed broker or your insurance company.

Intellectual Property

Everything on the Service — text, graphics, logos, software — belongs to Lineage Health or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Don't copy, modify, or redistribute it without our written permission.

You keep all rights to the information you share with us. You give us permission to use it only to provide the Service to you, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Links

The Service may link to other websites. We're not responsible for them, and a link doesn't mean we endorse them.

No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always work, be error-free, or that any content will be accurate or current.

Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lineage Health is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Ending Your Use

You can stop using Lineage Health and delete your account anytime. We can suspend access if you break these Terms or if we shut down the Service. The sections on intellectual property, no warranties, and limits on liability continue to apply after your account ends.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Updates take effect when posted with a new "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we'll give extra notice through the Service or by email. Continuing to use Lineage Health after changes means you accept them.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules.
